Let's Get Warmed Up!
The Chromatic Scale is just about the most important thing you can learn!
I'm not going into detail on this. It's covered in a few of my tutorials
and workshops. Just trust me on this!
There are only 2 scale patterns we'll work on in the warmup. And they are
in 3 keys. C, Eb and Bb. You can take your pick, or do them all!
The first one is 100% straight forward. Just play the Chromatic Scale,
starting on C. Go up 2 octaves, then down 2 octaves. Repeat
The tempo increases as you go!
Warm Up 1: C Chromatic Scale, 2 Octaves

Then do the Chromatic Spider Scale. You did similar exercises in the
Keys and Horns Workshop. Start on note 2, Db. Play Db, down one to C,
back up to Db. The patern is note/down one/back up. Then move up one, to
D and play D Db D. Eb D Eb, etc. Then back down.
Play it up 1 octave then down. Then play it again 1 octave higher. Then
lower, higher, ending on the lower octave.

Now that you're warmed up, go back to the All Keys home page,
pick a Key, or pick a Riff or Drill, and get to WORK!
