Scales are simply notes, spaced a specified distance apart. Called intervals.
Notes will either be right next to each other: A.Bb.B.C.Db ~ Or will have a
number of spaces between them. Usually 1, 2 or 3. A..B.C..D...F etc.
Use this chart to see the number of spaces to move from note to note!
The instrument doesn't matter. It's all the same!
